ESG Policy
Our commitment to responsible mining
At GramOne, sustainability is not a reporting exercise. It is woven into every decision we make, from exploration through to recycling. This policy outlines how we hold ourselves accountable.
Our Framework
Three pillars of accountability
Environmental Stewardship
- Minimize ecological footprint through responsible land management and rehabilitation.
- Implement water recycling and zero-discharge processing where possible.
- Track and reduce carbon emissions across all operations with measurable targets.
- Prioritize renewable energy sources in mine and refinery power systems.
Social Responsibility
- Engage local communities as genuine partners from the earliest stages of exploration.
- Create direct employment and skills development pathways for host communities.
- Invest in local education, healthcare, and infrastructure as part of every project.
- Maintain transparent grievance mechanisms and community dialogue channels.
Governance & Ethics
- Operate with full transparency in financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Enforce strict anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and conflict mineral policies.
- Conduct independent third-party ESG audits on an annual basis.
- Align with ICMM, OECD Due Diligence, and EU Critical Raw Materials Act standards.

Beyond Compliance
How we go further
Africa-First Value Creation
We are committed to keeping value on the continent. From refining to employment, our operations prioritize in-country benefit over extraction-only models.
Circular Economy
Our recycling infrastructure ensures critical minerals are recovered and reused, reducing the need for primary extraction and closing the resource loop.
Community Partnership
Every GramOne project begins with community engagement. We believe that the people closest to the resource should share directly in the value it creates.
This policy applies to all GramOne operations, subsidiaries, joint ventures, and contracted third parties. It is reviewed annually by the GramOne ESG Committee and updated to reflect evolving international standards and stakeholder feedback.
